This website ( www.clicaudio.com ) belongs to AUDIOBALANCE, UNIPESSOAL LDA , a quota company registered at the Conservatoria do Registo Comercial de Coimbra , with NIPC 518896226 , and domiciled at Rua Bartolomeu Dias n.º 9, 8200-096 Albufeira, Portugal .

The company operates the trademark “ClicAudio” , dedicated to the marketing of hearing products and remote technical support services.

Audiobalance, Unipessoal Lda is registered with the Entidade Reguladora da Saúde (ERS) as a healthcare provider and telemedicine establishment , with registration number E178632 , valid from September 8, 2025. The registration can be verified at www.ers.pt or via the QR code visible on the official certificate.

2. Purpose and scope

These terms and conditions govern access to and use of the website www.clicaudio.com, as well as commercial transactions carried out through it.

ClicAudio operates as a distribution platform for hearing products intended exclusively for people previously diagnosed by a qualified healthcare professional.

Audiobalance, Unipessoal Lda , under the brand name ClicAudio , does not perform medical diagnoses or audiological evaluations , limiting itself to the sale and remote fitting of hearing aids upon presentation of a valid medical prescription issued by an otolaryngologist or a certified audiologist.

Use of the site and placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3. Use of the site and property rights

Access to the site implies acceptance of the following conditions:

Copyright and industrial property rights
All content on this site (text, images, logos, trademarks, design, source code, etc.) is the exclusive property of Audiobalance, Unipessoal Lda or duly licensed third parties.
Its reproduction, distribution, public communication or modification , in whole or in part, is prohibited without express written authorization.

Links to www.clicaudio.com are permitted provided that their origin is clearly indicated and they are not used in a way that harms the reputation or integrity of the ClicAudio brand.

4. Nature of the products and dispensing conditions

The hearing aids marketed by Audiobalance, Unipessoal Lda under the brand name ClicAudio are medical devices in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices.

Terms of sale

The sale of hearing aids is subject to the prior presentation of a medical prescription issued by a qualified health professional (otolaryngologist or audiologist).
ClicAudio does not offer over-the-counter sales or deliver headphones without said documentation.
The customer must submit the audiometry or updated diagnostic report (preferably less than 6 months old) before finalizing the purchase.

ClicAudio Role

ClicAudio offers a technical support and remote adaptation service, using the manufacturers' official platforms to make customized adjustments, but without issuing a diagnosis or health prescription .

Its activity is limited to the marketing, adaptation and technical maintenance of the device according to pre-existing clinical specifications.

Health warnings

Always carefully read the labeling and instructions for use of the device.
Hearing aids should only be adjusted according to the prescribed hearing loss.
Improper use may cause discomfort or worsen hearing loss.
Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children or animals (risk of suffocation or ingestion).

5. User account and orders

To make a purchase, the customer must create an account with truthful information and maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.

Any order placed using these credentials will be considered valid and binding.

By clicking on “Pay” or “Confirm order”, the customer declares that they fully accept these terms and conditions and the privacy policy.

6. Prices, payments and VAT

All prices include VAT at the current legal rate .

Payment can be made by bank card, bank transfer, PayPal, or financing offered by the partners listed on the website. Audiobalance does not store customers' complete payment details.

In the event of a change in the VAT rate, prices will be updated automatically.

7. Shipments

ClicAudio ships to all countries in the European Union .

The average delivery time is 3 to 7 business days , and never more than 30 calendar days after order confirmation.

The customer will receive an email with the shipment confirmation and tracking number.

If the package shows visible damage from transport, the customer must refuse delivery or make a written record of the incident and notify ClicAudio within a maximum period of 24 hours .

8. Return and satisfaction policy

According to Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014 , the consumer has a legal right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product, provided that it is not a personalized or manipulated device.

However, ClicAudio voluntarily offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee , which extends the conditions provided by law.

30-day "Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back"

If within 30 calendar days of delivery the customer is not satisfied with the purchased product, they may return it without needing to justify the reason , even if the hearing aid has been used or adjusted.

We only request that the product and its accessories be returned in acceptable condition and working order , along with the original packaging and any items included in the delivery (charger, case, cables, filters, etc.).

After receiving and reviewing the product, ClicAudio will refund the full amount paid, using the same payment method used for the purchase.

The refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receipt of the return.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs , unless the product has a defect or supply error attributable to ClicAudio.

Exceptions

This 30-day policy does not apply to:

products that are clearly damaged or improperly handled;
returns that do not include the main components of the equipment.

In case of serious damage, ClicAudio may deduct a reasonable amortization corresponding to the replacement cost of the damaged parts.

Legal notice

This 30-day policy is an additional business condition offered by ClicAudio to reinforce customer trust and satisfaction.

In no case does it limit the minimum legal rights provided for by European Union consumer regulations.

9. Legal guarantee

All new products have a minimum legal guarantee of 3 years , in accordance with Decree-Law No. 84/2021 , which covers manufacturing defects or lack of conformity.

The following are excluded:

Damage resulting from misuse or lack of maintenance;
Unauthorized repairs or manipulations;
Replacement of consumables (batteries, olives, filters, etc.).

10. Security and fraud prevention verification

Audiobalance may request a copy of an identity document and proof of address to verify certain payments.

The site uses SSL/TLS certification and standard security protocols to protect data and transactions.

11. Protection of personal data

Audiobalance, Unipessoal Lda is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through the website.

The data is processed for the following purposes:

Account management, orders and deliveries;
Customer service and after-sales support;
Compliance with legal and tax obligations;
Sending commercial communications (with prior consent).

The data may be shared with service providers (logistics, payments, hosting, CRM) acting as data processors , in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

14. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Portuguese law and by European Union regulations on consumer protection and electronic commerce.

Any dispute may be submitted:

To the competent consumer arbitration body , or
To the courts of the consumer's domicile , without prejudice to the right to resort to mediation mechanisms or alternative dispute resolution.
