Technical support and ongoing assistance

At Clicaudio, all customers have access to a technical support and after-sales assistance service throughout the useful life of their hearing aid.

This service includes remote assistance to clarify usage-related questions, guidance on maintenance and cleaning, as well as technical adjustments to the device when technically or clinically indicated, always based on the clinical information previously provided by the customer.

Assistance is provided by appointment and through the channels made available by Clicaudio, using exclusively the manufacturers’ official platforms. Under no circumstances does this service replace in-person healthcare services or involve the provision of medical diagnoses or prescriptions.

 

Manufacturer’s warranty

All hearing aids marketed by Clicaudio are covered by an official manufacturer’s warranty of three (3) years, covering defects in materials or workmanship.

For warranty processing, the customer may:

  • Send the hearing aid to Clicaudio’s facilities for inspection and handling of the corresponding technical service, or
  • Visit any manufacturer-authorised service centre within the territory covered by the international warranty, available during the first 12 months from the date of purchase.

The warranty does not cover batteries, earmoulds, filters, tubes, or damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or interventions carried out by unauthorised personnel.

Any repair carried out by the manufacturer or by Clicaudio will include an additional 12-month warranty on the replaced parts.

 

Total Protection Insurance (optional)

As a complement to the standard warranty, Clicaudio offers, on an optional basis, a Total Protection Insurance plan, which extends device protection for up to five (5) years.

This insurance provides for the replacement of the hearing aid with an identical new device in the event of breakage, theft, loss, moisture damage or accidental damage, in accordance with the applicable policy conditions.

In the event of an insurance claim, the customer shall pay a deductible equivalent to 30% of the current retail price of the model. The replacement device will be covered by a full three (3) year warranty from the date of delivery.

The Total Protection Insurance:

  • May only be activated once per hearing aid during its useful life.
